# Why I Started Elise Management (and What It Looks Like Today)

**Hi there, and welcome!**

I'm [Tiffany Goodwin-Brown](https://www.linkedin.com/in/tiffany-goodwin/), founder of Elise Management and a HubSpot Solutions Partner. I help nonprofits, professional services firms, and healthcare teams get a CRM their people actually trust. Here's how that started.

### Where it began

Before Elise Management, I spent years in-house leading marketing and demand generation. I worked across technology, medical devices, and healthcare distribution, and the job was often the same at its core: connecting marketing and sales so the two teams could work from the same information.

In my last role as a Director of Marketing, I led our move from ActiveCampaign to HubSpot and built a new customer journey on top of it. Before that, I launched a demand generation program from scratch and ran lead generation and nurture campaigns in HubSpot. Earlier still, I managed websites, landing pages, forms, and lead flows. Different companies, different titles, and HubSpot was in the middle of almost all of it.

### The turning point

In 2022, my role was cut in a round of layoffs. I spent months job hunting, sent hundreds of applications, and made it to the final rounds more than once without landing anything. It was discouraging, so I stepped back to reflect on what I actually wanted to do next.

When I looked back at my career, one thing stood out: HubSpot had been a constant. I remembered how intimidating it felt at first and how much I enjoyed it once it clicked. I wanted to give other teams that same feeling, without the fear that often comes with adopting new technology. That summer, Elise Management was born.

### What Elise Management looks like today

What started as helping teams get comfortable with HubSpot has grown into a focused HubSpot practice. Today I work hands-on inside HubSpot portals in a few ways:

- **Implementation and onboarding** for teams getting started or starting over.
- **CRM cleanup and optimization** for portals that have gotten messy.
- **Ongoing admin and RevOps support** for teams that need a HubSpot expert without a full-time hire.
- **Integrations and data** so HubSpot works with the rest of their tools.

While most of my work today is with nonprofits, professional services firms, and healthcare teams, I've supported teams in everything from education and real estate to financial services and energy.

I also partner with agencies and consultants, both as white-label HubSpot support and through referral partnerships, and I bring in trusted Solutions Partners from my network for larger builds. You can see [everything I offer and how we can work together](https://elisemanagement.com/#services) on my homepage.

### What hasn't changed

The best part of this work is still the same as on day one: watching a team go from avoiding their CRM to relying on it. Every portal is different, but the goal is always a HubSpot setup that fits how your team actually works.

When I'm not in a HubSpot portal, I'm spending time with the people I love, watching basketball, and speaking up about mental health.

If you made it this far, thank you for reading! If you'd like to talk about your HubSpot, [book a free intro call](https://meetings.hubspot.com/tiffanygbrown/hubspot-consultant-intro-call). I'd love to hear what you're working on.
